Dbanj visits The Home Of Hennessy in Cognac, France

D'banj arrived in Cognac Town in France yesterday September 4, 2013.

The superstar, who recently released this year's Hennessy Artistry 2013 theme song Raise Your Glasses, is being treated to The Hennessy Heritage Experience. He will be spending a few days in Cognac touring the Hennessy distillery and its vineyards.
Just as Champagne only comes from France’s Champagne region and Bordeaux from Bordeaux region, Cognac only comes from Cognac Town.

Cognac is the only place, by French law, that can brand the spirit they produce as cognac. Outside of Cognac, the spirit is called brandy.

Others on the visit are D'banj's brother Kay Switch, his manager Tony Nwakalor, Hennessy's brand manager Lere Awokoya, Marketing Manager Moet Hennessy Nigeria David Hourdry, Bolaji Kekere-Eku of 37th State and Ayeni Adekunle of BHM.

The GOOD music artist, who is the sole headliner for this year’s Hennessy Artistry, spent the night at the company’s elegant private guest house where he slept in the same room where General Charles de Gaulle stayed when he visited le Château de Bagnolet in 1945 after the occupation of the German Army who lodged there from 1939 to 1945.

The  Chateau de Bagnolet in Cognac was built in 1810 and was bought by August Hennessy as his home in 1840. One hundred seventy-three years later, our very own D'banj is visiting La Maison de Hennessy.
Banger lee and team got to mix their very own blend !!!

In 2011, after the release of Hennessy Artistry theme song Toast to the Good Life on Thursday September 1, headline acts, Banky W, eLDee, Jesse Jagz and MI also visited Cognac Town on September 5.
If you decide to vist la maison d’hôtes d’Hennessy (the prestigious guesthouse of Hennessy) in Cognac some day, note that heures d’ouverture (opening time) is between 6:30 am and 8:30 pm.
